CFFan - Being Lovers of God and bringing his presence to others

The Greatest

We thank God for the testimonies of miracles, supernatural healings, signs and wonders among our spiritual family. May all of us press on into greater heights in faith as we walk in obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit. It’ll be great if each and every Covenant Family member be fully activated in releasing the heavenly dimension in daily life. More than ability, God looks for the availability. Let us yield to our Lord declaring: “let Your kingdom come, let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

At the same time, we must not forget that the foundation and motivation of all ministry is and must be love. We are not desiring to receive spiritual gifts in order perform and to show off nor to prove that we are spiritual. It is not even to validate our status as sons of God. There is nothing we can do to add to what Jesus did on the Cross for He declared, “It is finished.” The reason we desire to be empowered for ministry is because we love God and the people whom He gave His life for.

It is very significant that between 1 Corinthians chapters 12 and 14, which talk about spiritual gifts (charisma), is the famous love chapter of 1 Corinthians 13. The Holy Spirit through the apostle Paul is emphasizing to us that all spiritual ministry gifts only derive its meaning in the context of love.

I do not suggest for one moment that we cease from pursuing spiritual gifts and miracles and focus on love instead. Not at all, for it is not an either-or proposition. I say we pursue all that God is and has. Our God is love. He loves all people and desires each one to be set free from demonic influence. Salvation, healing, deliverance, and a victorious life is his desire for us. That is why we are to pursue His will reaching out to people in love.

Let love be our eternal bond and the driving force in CFFAN.

“And now abide faith, hope, and love, these three, but the greatest of these is love.” – 1 Corinthians 13: 13

The abundant life

If you are not yet sure what is the real meaning and purpose of life and if you do not yet have a real genuine personal relationship with Jesus Christ, don’t waste time wondering. God loves you so much that He sent His own Son, Jesus Christ, to die for the penalty of your sins and to give you an abundant eternal life. The merciful God is waiting and ready to forgive you and give you a new life if you would only sincerely humble yourself in asking for His forgiveness. Ask Jesus Christ into your life as Lord and He will hear you and be your Saviour.
